Crow Moon come from the humble beginning of front man, Max Murphy's bedroom. A project that originally began as a solo acoustic blues act in order to perform at an open mic night ran by drummer, Charlie Grimble. As the set-list grew and grew, greater ideas started to blossom; and in order to realise these ideas, Crow Moon the band was born.
With Angus Allen, Ben Main, and Charlie Grimble now on board, the vision shifted from acoustic blues to a louder, faster, and heavier version of it's former self. Leaning on the intricacies of progressive rock, the swing of the blues, and the drive of alternative rock, Crow Moon create a distinct sound inclusive of vast influences.
Crow Moon have since recorded and released three singles. Senescence (debut) was originally released via Lazarus Records, the predecessor to Pious Camel Records. Continuing the success of Senescence, follow up tracks Wickerman, and Familiar Place were released with similar anticipation.
The spirit and charisma of Crow Moon is best captured during their live shows where the energy and emotion of the band is easily translated.
